When we started the project of renovating this villa, it was totally run down. The client wanted his house to be bright, and according to the Colonial style. The villa was transformed creating many different levels and a number of terraces to fully take advantage of the sunlight. The basement was extended and transformed into a wine cellar and the garden was integrated to the surrounding area, preserving several large trees. The color of the roof was the client’s wish, and of course is a matter of taste.
